Issue Position

Lisa believes all women have the right to equal pay for equal work, reproductive health care, and safety from physical abuse.
Lisa has made fighting for the rights of women one of the greatest priorities of her personal and professional career. Lisa has been a working mom and a tireless advocate for victims of abusive relationships and sexual assault. She has seen first-hand the difficulty which women in Indiana face, from the lack of political representation to restrictions to life-saving health care. She will support laws that protect Hoosiers from discrimination based on gender, identity, religion, or place. If elected, she will support:

Legislation to ensure equal pay for women
Laws that protect Hoosiers from discrimination and harassment in the workplace, as well increase protections for corporate whistleblowers
Laws that provide for safety and security of our youth from sexual assault while attending schools and college campuses; providing the means to investigate, report, and prevent sexual assaults
Funding for women' health clinics and providers
Increased public funding for health screenings or preventable diseases
